Will Filipinos survive holocaust of corruption?
Rise up righteous people! Wake up religious and Godly people! This seems to be nationwide call of righteous leaders all over the country.
Nearly a hundred reputable business organizations and prominent citizens all over the country published in one page of a leading Philippine daily on November 13 demanded the resignation of Pres. Gloria Arroyo and Vice Pres. Noli De Castro.
On the other hand, Speaker Jose De Venecia, the Catholic Church headed by Cardinal Ricardo Vidal, El Shaddai, JIL's Eddie Villanueva, Bishops Benny and Reuban Abante and 26 other Baptist bishops and pastors, the Jesuit founder of the Social Democracy in the Phil., Fr. Archie Integan, and Norberto Gonzales joined the moral mobilization movement. Is the morality of GMA and her administration that low that decent Filipino leaders call for the Filipino people to join the crusade against the weakening of morality in our present generation.
"The righteous cry out, and the Lord hears, and delivers them out of all their troubles," Psalms 34:17. This is a message to those who will heed the call of our nation's righteous and moral leaders. And to those who make graft and corruption and immorality their standard operation procedure, here's the message from 1 Corinthians 6:9-10: "Do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived. Neither fornicators, nor idolaters and adulterers, nor homosexual, nor sodomites. Nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, will inherit the kingdom of God."
Even the new impeachment petition against the President for her alleged wrongdoings while in office has been shelved by the forces of the so-called unrighteous people. The Holy Bible clearly states that the way of the righteous is eternal life but the way of the wicked is eternal damnation. People have nothing to lose but everything to gain if they choose God as their personal Saviour and redeemer.
