Guv OK's Garin-backed projects
A total of 25 checks were distributed yesterday by First District Board Member Richard Garin to various barangay and school officials.
With total amount of P225,000, funding of P5,000 to P10,000 were handed out to target beneficiaries with the projects ranging from repair and maintenance of classrooms to construction of public benches.
In the spirit of solidarity, Garin requested the presence of Executive Assistant Levy Buenavista as representative of Governor Niel Tupas.
"This is one way that we want to show that we are here to provide for the delivery of basic services. While it has been reported and said that we are at odds with the Governor, what we want the people to know is that we are here for constructive collaboration," Garin in his message to the beneficiaries said.
The funding was taken from the Community Direct Action Program (CDAP) of Governor Niel Tupas.
