Where are you qualified Centralians for the Presidency of our alma mater, Central Philippine University? You may be an executive of a corporation, a government chief executive officer, government school administrator, a private practitioner, a business entrepreneur, or a land owner, send your bio-data or present yourself before the Search Committee now and before July 3, 2008 at CPU Board of Trustee Office. Help your alma mater to the status of the world-class Christian educational institution. It's not the salary that matter most, it's your undying love and loyalty to your alma mater that once nurtured you of her high standard of education and the Christian upbringing and value that Jesus Christ brought you out of darkness and made you what you are today.
CPU is 103 years old with a present student population of over 12,000 and with highly qualified and dedicated teachers. It has maintained autonomous status granted by the Commission of Higher Education (CHED) since October 2001 and many academic programs are Accredited Level III. It is ISO 9001:2000 Certified. CPU is a Baptist University situated on the beautiful 24-hectare campus in Barangay San Isidro, Jaro, Iloilo City.
President Juanito M. Acanto will end his second extension on July 3, 2008 and will leave the portal of CPU with outstanding legacy Centralians will long cherish and remember. What are you waiting for Centralians? Procrastination is the thief of time but inaction bringeth good result. If you are not the Centralian who is not called to head our Alma Mater, reach out to CPU alumni and bring the good news about the CPU future president. At present, the CPU Search Committee members, Dr. Agustin Pulido, former CPU President, Dr. Andresito Millamena, former Dean of Agriculture and Director for Research, WVSU; and Engr. Alfredo Mombay, practicing engineer, are managing the day-to-day affairs of the university.
