Capiz police stations among recipients of PNP vehicles
ROXAS CITY – The Capiz Police Provincial Office's (CPPO) three municipal police stations will be among the recipients of 29 motor vehicles from the Philippine National Police's (PNP) Directorate for Logistics in Camp Crame, Quezon City.
The vehicles composed of Toyota Hi-Lux 4X2 Patrol Jeep, Toyota Altis Patrol Car, and 200CC Honda Motorcycle units are ready for distribution to various police stations in the region.
"These motor vehicles will be distributed to our police stations," PRO 6 Director, C/Supt. Isagani Cuevas said in a Philippine News Agency online news.
The Pan-ay and Tapaz police stations are the beneficiaries of the Toyota Hilux and Toyota Altis patrol cars, respectively, while the Sigma town police station is expected to receive a unit of 200 CC Honda motorcycle.
"We are happy about it because the vehicles are needed to further improve our police visibility and response efforts," said Capiz Police Director S/Supt. Roberto Villanueva.
Aside from CPPO, the various police stations under Antique Police Provincial Office (APPO), Negros Occidental Police Provincial Office (NOPPO), Iloilo Police Provincial Office (IPPO), Guimaras Police Provincial Office (GPPO) are also recipients of the vehicle.
"We want to enhance the capability of our police stations in order to deliver the best for people," Cuevas added in the PNA news. (PIA/A.Lumaque)
