Godly parents-guardians will survive crisis!
Nearly half a million students from all levels both private and public schools trooped to their classes amidst unprecedented increase of prices from pencil to gasoline. But the determination of parents and guardians to have their children get the much needed education is burning aglow despite the impending adversities in life. The parents' belief in God Almighty that He will supply their needs in times like this is amazingly incomprehensible. They would go to the extent of sacrificing their own insatiable needs and even some go to friends and relatives to get the necessary financing for the education of their kids.
The start of the year 2008 was not so encouraging. Natural calamities struck heavily on non-Christian nations like Myanmar, China, Indonesia and other African countries. Even Christian nations were not spared by nature's wrath. The Christian nations probably are reminded to live, act and pray more as a number of Jesus Christ people are veering towards Satanic influences like drugs, crimes, graft and corruption, dishonesty, hatred on neighbors and family members, avoiding church services and other abominations which God abhors and hates. With so many temptations offered by the modern society today, people tend to forget God and seldom do they realize that they were created in the image of God Almighty. The Sodom and Gomorrah abominations are repeated nowadays by ungodly people and co-called Christian nations. But God promised not to send anymore brimstone and fire to destroy completely ungodly nations.
Twenty-four hours a day, many devoted Christians, come to their knees crying to God Almighty to spare their land of calamities and destructions. God no doubt listens to His righteous people. Does the government have a contingency plan that in case the dreadful day will come will this nation survive the wrath of God? God has still given hope to His faithful followers including the wicked ones. In II Chronicles 7:14, God said: "If my people which are called by my name, shall humble themselves and pray, and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and heal their land."
Shall we wait for another Noah to build an ark or Lot to warn the people of the wrath of God? In Genesis 6:5, "Then the Lord saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every intent of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually. So the Lord said, "I will destroy man whom I have created from the face of the earth, both man and beasts, creeping thing and birds of the air, for I am sorry that I have made them." Genesis 7:17, "Now the flood was on the earth 40 days. The waters increased and lifted up the ark, and it rose high above the earth." Genesis 7:23, "And He destroyed all living things which were on the face of the ground; both man and cattle, creeping things and birds of the air. These were destroyed from the earth. Only Noah and those who were with him in the ark remained alive.
People have nothing to lose but everything to gain if they live God's life while awaiting for the coming of Jesus Christ soon.
