Free eye examination conducted in Negros Occidental town
Bacolod City -- A two-day free eye examination and giving of eyeglasses was conducted by the Eye Care We Care Foundation, Inc. in Murcia, Negros Occidental recently.
The group was led by its president and founder James Weyrich, as the optometric physician.
Together with his wife Mary Ellen, aboard a bus carrying the eye examination equipment and the volunteers, Weyrich and his team has been giving free service around Negros especially to far-flung areas.
A total of 184 patients were served on the first day and 100 more on the second day. (PIA/cad)
