Governor inducts tourism officers in Negros Occidental
Neg. Occ. Governor Isidro Zayco inducted into office the new set of officers of the Association of Tourism Officers of Negros Occidental (ATONO) at the Governor's Office recently.
Inducted were Severino Pacete of Silay City, president; Jose Victor Romay of La Carlota City, vice president; Christine Mansinares of Sipalay City, secretary; Elma Gerasmo of Bacolod City, Asst. Secretary; Rosseni Mina of Bago City, treasurer; Renea Ferrer of Talisay City, asst. treasurer;
Nilo Ogatis of Moises Padilla, auditor; Sandra Vidal of Cauayan, asst. auditor and Imogene Kanaan of Bacolod City, public relations officer. Provincial tourism officer Jennylind Corder is the group's adviser.
ATONO is composed of tourism officers from the different towns and cities of the province whose purpose is to promote unity, camaraderie and mutual cooperation among the members to achieve a common goal, interest and welfare on tourism, arts and culture, and to encourage, support and assist members in the promotion and preservation of tourism, arts and culture in their respective areas of jurisdiction.
