Ex-Capiz Board member denies owning unlicensed gun

Police filed a case against Andaya for violation of P.D. 1866 when he was arrested at around 2:30 p.m. last August 1 inside the Area One Bar and Restaurant along Boulevard, this city.
In his defense, Andaya said that the police arrested him even without warrant of arrest. He said, he only tried to pacify a commotion among a group of dancers.
"I was standing on the entrance when the police frisked my body without telling me why," he said in his affidavit.
