Cops hunt killers of American nat'l in Arevalo brutal slayA 40 year-old American national was brutally murdered in his rented home in Arevalo District, Iloilo City. Neighbors alerted authorities yesterday morning after failing to see the victim, Daniel Chabra on his usual morning walk. Police told ABS-CBN Iloilo that at least two suspects were behind the Chabra killing with the victim's body sustaining at least 12 stab wounds. Neighbor Ditas Estrella told said TV network that Chabra had five male guests Tuesday evening with a seeming commotion about 9 p.m. Responding Arevalo police saw two broken window panes at the back of the rented house with the front room turned into a grisly crime scene. The incident occurred in Zone 4 Arevalo along the famed Villa Beach area. The News Today (TNT) gathered that minutes after the discovery of the crime, Chief Superintendent Isagani Cuevas, Police Regional Office 6 (PRO6) director personally went to Arevalo District. It was not immediately clear what motives are being pursued by Arevalo Police. |
