Bobby Mahadali: The News Today's Negros Bureau Chief speaks
As it turned out, he's not just tall in terms of his height but his hopes for the newspaper as well.
Really tall.
Bobby Mahadali always wants to try many things.
This is the first impression this writer had upon meeting Bobby Mahadali when he arrived at The News Today headquarters for our interview. He's towering at six feet and two inches and we had to look up to be able to achieve eye contact with this reserved and amazing bureau chief of TNT.
As it turned out, he's not just tall in terms of his height but his hopes for the newspaper as well. With Negros as a vast and progressive province as his playground, and with TNT as his product, he has tall hopes that the paper will surpass its competition plying the area.
"I have received good response as regards the quality of our paper. There's the credible, objective and up-to-date information as well as fine quality printing," Bobby said. "I am very confident," he added.
Bobby had been exposed to media work for a long time and he is an expert administrator, thanks to his stint with a real estate corporation for 15 years and for quite some time with his own travel business.

"I'm a hands-on manager. For me, one should know the ins and outs of a business before one could delegate," he said. "You can't ask people to do things you don't even know about," he added.
Bobby is a very flexible person. "You will never know what you can accomplish unless you try it," says the guy who is not afraid of trying out new things.
"Media work is something I find really challenging. Here, you need to keep abreast of what's going on. As a bureau chief, there are many aspects you need to deal with like news gathering and marketing," he said.
"Watch out for TNT. We are going to give you the quality paper that will excel the standards that you're used to. Expect a change that TNT will bring," is his message to Negrenses.
Bobby is married to Alce and they have kids, namely Bruce, Benj, Brix, Robert Clarence, Robert Jenais and Bea. During his spare time, he walks, strums the guitar and sings with the videoke.
