Dadivas added that an independent body should be tasked to conduct the investigation.
While, City Councilor Monchit Albar insisted that a team should do the investigation since the city council has no contempt powers to compel personalities who may be involved in the alleged anomalies.
Earlier, Del Rosario submitted himself to be investigated by the city council to clear his name on the controversies that cropped up during his administration when he was still mayor of Roxas City.
Del Rosario's reguest for investigation came in the wake of commentaries and speculations linking the taking up of the alleged anomalies on radio to the killing of Radio Mindanao Network (RMN)-dyVR commentator Martin Roxas.
However, police is still following other motives considering that Roxas tackled many issues before he was murdered.
