One of China's most popular festivals, the Mid-Autumn Moon Festival was celebrated at The Promenade, Days Hotel recently. A wide variety of sumptuous Oriental fare was prepared by the Days Hotel team headed by Food and Beverage Manager Rey Ponsaran and F&B Assistant Manager Kryztoff Carillo. The staff, dressed in cheongsam, were all smiles as they pleasantly attended to the diners' needs.
Purr and company feasted on the Chinese Dimsum, Barbecued Meat Platter, Eight Treasure Vegetables and Yang Chow Fried Rice. The other special treats were the Beef Stew Szechuan Style, Diced Chicken with Walnuts, Sweet and Sour Pork Litchi Style and Combination Chow Mien.
Rey Ponsaran and the Ong ladies.
The dessert table was filled with extraordinary Oriental sweets like Glutinous Rice Balls, Almond Lychee, Mooncakes plus cakes and cookies. The chef at the Crepe Station prepared for us an unforgettable serving of Apple, Cinnamon and Banana Crepe.
The Promenade regularly offers a Saturday dinner buffet and Sunday family feast for lunch.
