Dinner at DMGJ Tourism and Hospitality Academy
The graduates
New chefs have graduated recently from the DMGJ Tourism and Hospitality Academy, located in Jereos, La Paz.
They are dubbed as the "future chefs, daring to be different" and in order to prove this, they treated families and friends with their excellent cooking during their culmination dinner on one weekend.
Andrey Ross Dicen, owner of DMGJ and Vic Militante, chief instructor, welcomed everybody with their amiable presence.
According to Vic, the students of DMGJ normally undergo intensive training in the culinary arts. For example, in their midterm exams, the students are required to prepare a complete meal set-up in just two hours. Talk about Iron Chef in Iloilo. He added that students of DMGJ are being molded to be globally competitive.
Competitive indeed, for the guests kept congratulating the students for an excellent dinner that night. See the sidebars for the list of their fabulous menu and the names of the graduates.
