Iloilo's very own culinary wiz Pauline Gorriceta- Banusing of Freska was invited to showcase Ilonggo specialties like Baked Diwal, Chicken Inasal, Steamed Talaba, Batchoy with Puto Manapla and Grilled Managat in the annual Pink Kitchen held at the Rockwell Tent in Makati City last Oct 18-19, 2008.
Some of the country's top private and gourmet chefs converged at the site to participate in the annual Pink Kitchen where culinary geniuses whipped up their signature dishes to raise funds for ICANSERVE, an advocacy that empowers women with information related to breast cancer and other female-related cancer forms. This benefit affair is in cooperation with ABS-CBN Publishing and the Lifestyle Channel.

Other pocket activities were the Kids Baking with Mel Francisco, author of Witchkins; Coffee Preparations with Robert Francisco pf Boyd's Coffee; Wine Appreciation with Ines Cabarrus of Enderun Colleges; Healthy Cooking with Rob Pengson, TV host of Chef-on- the- Go; Cake Creations with award -winning Pastry Chef Buddy Trinidad and Look Good Feel Good skin program by Becca cosmetics of Adora.
Highlights were the 50 participating chefs, caterers and seasonal cooks whose specialties are served only in their homes, like Wynn Wynn Ong, Bishier Valdez and Mariko Jacinto to name a few cooking Burmese, Indonesian and Japanese food respectively.
