Cerebral Combustion
All for the holidays
Barely a month to go for Christmas and while many are preoccupied shopping for gifts, decorations and preparations -- snatchers, swindlers, thieves and the likes are also busy lurking around waiting to take a hole in your pocket. Figuratively and literally. Mind you, these treacherous entities have advanced in their tactics even in physical appearance and places that unfortunate victims can now rarely recognize between a mugger and an innocent ordinary shopper. Several cases of pickpockets and shoplifting reported nowadays are rampant inside the malls with crooks more "postura" than the victim.
My best friend's mother lost her mobile phone while standing in line to the cashier at a hardware store inside a mall. A day after, her aunt lost her wallet while eating at the food court. I too heard similar cases of lost valuables from relatives and acquaintances and it all happened inside shopping centers.
The sad part of it is that you can't check or verify incidents like this from the mall's management because shops, stores, or boutiques inside their premises do not have surveillance cameras except for department and grocery areas. So now many shoppers are wary that even malls are now unsafe for strolling or shopping.
If you decide to do a little walking, or run errands inside malls make sure you take extra care of your valuable belongings especially pricey ones like your mobile phones. Always be cautious of strangers that you sit, eat, walk, or ride with in elevators.
It pays to be always on guard against individuals with dark intentions or else the shopping money you worked hard for will magically vanish and go home with nothing but a distressing tale for the holidays.

It is often an advantage for mothers who are OC about taking care of the kids. Especially the younger ones at age 3 and below. Climate or weather changes and some environmental factors proved to be hazardous to the health of children and adults alike, resulting in various ailments like cough, flu, colds and fever that can lead to major sicknesses. Several cases of pneumonia in children have been rampant lately so make sure your kids are safe from this ailment particularly with kids who has low immune system like babies. If your kid has a recurring fever with or without chills, coughing, sweating, breathing rapidly, or has lost an appetite, immediately consult a doctor or your respective pediatric doctor.
