FCC-NSTP holds clean-up drive in Baybay
ROXAS CITY – About 275 NSTP-CWTS students of Filamer Christian College (FCC) conducted a clean-up drive along the shorelines of Baybay Beach here in the morning of November 19, 2008.
The FCC-NSTP had an existing collaboration with the Office of the Vice Mayor in this city and the Office of the City Tourism in the conduct of the said activity.
The purpose of the clean-up drive is to instill among the students the need if not the imperative to protect and preserve the cleanliness of the sea shores of the beach in this Seafoods Capital of the Philippines.
This is the third time the FCC-NSTP students had their clean-up drive along the shorelines of Baybay Beach. Roxas City Vice Mayor Ronnie Dadivas himself has been supportive and personally participated in this environmental endeavor in maintaining cleanliness of the Baybay Beach. The Office of the City Tourism had likewise made their support by giving the students certificates for their active participation.
The students indeed had developed a sense of concern and good values in the protection and preservation of the coastal environment.
