Hard evidence
Many are asking if Christopher Montaño of the Commission on Human Rights (CHR) has already resigned from his position because of shame for what he has done. We'll Bull's Eye cannot confirm it but Montaño apparently has slowed down in having public appearances unlike before when you can always see or hear him in various occasions. What we know of is that he has strongly denied that he sired a son with a married woman! Well, it's just normal. Mabudlay gid man mag-aku sang kasal-anan. Funny, but a source told Bull's Eye that Montaño even has the gall to ask Justice Sec. Raul Gonzalez's recommendation for him to become the next Regional Director of CHR. For sure, the guy's immoral acts already reached the attention of Sec. Gonzalez and the latter definitely would not recommend somebody who's immoral to become head of the sensitive government agency. As early as this we are not prejudging Mr. Montaño but it seems wala gid sya lusot diri. How can you deny when you have as evidence the product of your immorality? Your signature on the child's DNA won't lie. And by the way, we've heard that a hold order has already been issued against Montaño. We still have to confirm this information anyway.
On field trips
There is a plan to prohibit buses carrying students on a field trip from entering the city. Primary reason cited was that it adds to the traffic congestion. Whoever is behind this plan should think that these field trips usually come from the municipalities or other provinces. Instead of prohibiting such activity we should be proud that people from other places wanted to see what Iloilo City is. We should not deprive them of the opportunity to experience life in a highly urbanized city like ours. Besides, field trips don't happen everyday, every week or even every month. So, why worry about its effect on the traffic?
