With the influx of Korean students here in Iloilo City studying the English language also comes the proliferation of Korean restaurants. Have you tried Korean food? If you haven't, better try it because for sure you will really like it.
Along E. Lopez Street in Jaro District (near Jollibee) there's a Korean restaurant there named Asinayo. It is owned by Korean Shally Roh and has been in operation for about one year and two months.
At Asinayo Korean Restaurant and Bar you can taste Korean food at very reasonable prices. Filipino customers are entitled to a 30 percent discount on all food.

A single setting is good for three to four persons. Customers can grill the pork belly themselves through a portable gas range placed in every table. Also served are various types of Kimchi, a traditional Korean fermented dish made of vegetables with varied seasonings and spices. Kimchi which is served at every Korean meal is healthy food. It is said that regular consumption of Kimchi prevents common diseases like diabetes, high blood pressure and obesity. It also prevents acid intoxication, gastric cancer, and has cleansing power.
Also served are steamed pork, Kimchi stew, and rice. The customer can also try seafood soup and as well as the "Bul go gi" (a combination of meat and vegetables) and the "Sun de" (a sausage made of noodles with pork liver siding).
