The Marañon House
The Snake.
I got the chance to see the unique house of the Marañons in Araneta Street, Bacolod City, when my friend Archie visit his friend Anton a Sri Lankan guy who is staying there as a guest of the family.
The place is really nice and it looks like a museum. The structure, the designs and everything inside were really amazing. I was so captivated so I began taking pictures.
I met Tita Patria, the owner's mother and Michael Villarosa, the artist of the house. They told me that everything was made possible because of Jessie, Tita Patria's son who is in London. I've learned that Jessie tells Michael of his ideas and when done, the photos are sent to him. Until now, the house is undergoing more designs.
Atlas
I was able to talk to Jessie over the phone and he told me that his inspirations were museums, houses and other places in London. He blended everything just great!
