Rotary's safari night
The Nava family - Oscar, Emma,
Amanda, Pia and Oskie.
Rotarians turned the PNB Multi-Purpose Hall into a safari when they donned their most creative Out of Africa costumes last March 5, 2009.
It was a fellowship that brought Rotarians from Western Visayas and Western Mindanao for a night of food, fun and entertainment as different clubs presented mostly dance numbers.
The dishes were superb as they were catered by Tibong Jardelez. The party venue was exceptionally safari-like after Tibong and Pia Nava decorated it so. The music was provided by Tribu ni Mali, with its tribal drumming setting the mood.
The Rotarians present were from the Rotary International District 3850 headed by Governor Emma Nava, who looked fabulous as an African queen.
