65 kids graduate of Bible School at Aklan PNP
KALIBO, Aklan –– The Aklan Police Provincial Office (APPO) successfully accommodated a total of sixty-five (65) children enrollee in the Daily Vacation Bible School (DVBS) for children in Camp Pastor Martelino, New Buswang, Kalibo, Aklan in coordination with the Christ the King School. The DVBS was conducted simultaneously by Aklan PPO to children ages 5 to 13 years old every vacation.
The 65 children successfully graduated last Saturday at Aklan PPO Multi-Purpose Building with their awards and recognitions received. The awarding graced by Aklan police director Police Senior Superintendent Cl;arence V Guinto and Police Community Relations Chief PSI Avelda Rabino and assisted by Christ the King School teachers headed by Ms Marlyn B Dela Peña, school principal.
Aklan police director Police Senior Superintendent Clarence V. Guinto said, the Vacation Bible School was established to let the children know that police officers are their friends and someone they could trust and ask for assistance. And most importantly, he added, DVBS aims to help build the lives of the future generation of Aklanons by teaching them basic Christian values which is the key to a Victorians and fruitful life.
