BCPO commends 2 'performing' cops
BACOLOD CITY -- Police Superintendent Leo Irwin D. Agpangan, Bacolod City Police Office, Officer-In-Charge gave certificates of commendation to two PNP personnel assigned at Police Station 1 held at the BCPO parade grounds. The awardees were Police Officer 2 Joshua T Barile and Police Officer 1 Rolly H Jardinico under-going Field Training Program (FTP).
PO2 Barile was instrumental for the arrest of a parolee Paquito Sayson y Ruiz alias “Baby” of Calong-Calong, Zone II, Brgy. Singcang Airport, Bacolod City. Sayson was apprehended in connection with order of Arrest and Commitment issued by Natividad G Dizon, Acting Chairperson of the board of Pardons and Parole at Quezon City on January 29, 2009.
Barile was able to recover from the possession and control of Sayson one elongated transparent plastic sachet containing suspected Methamphetamine Hydrochloride known as “Shabu”. The said suspect was caught in the mentioned address on March 27, 2009.
Meanwhile, PO1 Jardinico was also instrumental with the arrest of a wanted person Raffy de Asis y Bautista for Theft case, 25 years old, single of Abada Sky in Brgy. Granada, this city through an entrapment operation that took place on April 11, 2009 at around 12:30 in the afternoon at SM City, Reclamation Area, Bacolod City.
De Asis is a suspect for the spate of snatching in the downtown area. One of his victims soughy the help of the police after he was allegedly snatched by the said suspect of his one Nokia 6210 cell phone, black color and one Motorola V8 cell phone, black color all amounting to Php 4,900.00 which eventually recovered by the police from the possession of the suspect.
Supt. Agapangan thanked the efforts of the two policemen and also encouraged other members of the Bacolod City Police to always perform its mandate and that is to truly serve and protect the people and to enforce the law without fear or favor.
