Ombudsman Iloilo offers 13 posts for investigators, admin staff
Want to be part of the government’s selected few tasked on upholding integrity of workers in government employ? Want to be the one in-charge of helping out the existing teams of anti-graft government investigators?

If the answer is yes, then you may be a potential candidate for the 13 vacant positions announced by the Iloilo field office of the Ombudsman in the Visayas.
Contained in a job bulletin recently released, Ombudsman’s Chief Administrative Officer Elpidio Montecillo disclosed the positions needed.
Of the 13 spots available, five will go to the Field Investigation Group as Associate Graft Investigation Officers and administrative aides. Four personnel are also needed for the Corruption Prevention and Education Group likewise as Associate Graft Investigation Officers and administrative aide. And lastly, another four to complete the 13 newbies needed in the Administrative Group as accountant and administrative officers.
To recall, the additional workforce was promised by Deputy Ombudsman for the Visayas Pelagio Apostol following the assessment done on the Iloilo Field Office workload.
Interested applicants are enjoined to submit basic requirements such as accomplished Personal Data Sheet, service records and for current government employee-applicants, the latest performance appraisal reports.
This latest job offer of the Ombudsman is the second in about a year’s time when a similar job opening was also presented to the public.
Assistant Ombudsman Virginia Palanca-Santiago was then chair of the screening committee with hundreds of Ilonggo hopefuls responding to the call.
Credentials and all, Ombudsman Santiago stressed then that final picks were to be determined in terms of “integrity-check.”
