Jerusalem is God's nation
Will the Jewish people give up Jerusalem in favor of the Palestine? Jerusalem is the house of the Lord and belongs to the Jewish people since creation time. II Kings 23:27, And the Lord said, “I will also remove Judah from my sight, as I have chosen, and the house of which I said, “My name shall be there!” Even up to this time, the Lord's name is widespread in Jerusalem and why should the Jews give up Jerusalem to the Palestine, a Muslim nation. History repeats itself. Will God send another little David to defeat the Palestinian army as He did in the biblical time?
God is still in control of Israel. “Cry yet saying, Thus saith the Lord of hosts. My cities through prosperity shall yet be spread abroad; and the Lord shall yet comfort Zion, and shall yet choose Israel,” Zechariah 1:27. Christians all over Israel and the United States are alerted that Prime Minister Netanyahu stood firm on his belief that there should only be one Jerusalem state.
The Jewish people and born again Christians are surprised why U.S. Pres. Obama had told Muslim audience during his recent visit in Egypt that he is in favor of two Jerusalem states. Obama who was born in Muslim Indonesia with a Muslim father reportedly is veering towards the Muslim world than the Christian. TV host of CBN 700 Club Pat Robertson was quoted saying over television that Pres. Obama had said in his CNN television speech that America is not a “Christian” nation. Being born to a Muslim father, Obama could not be blamed if he is not aware up to this time that the founding fathers of America were the Puritans who escaped persecution in Ireland in 1620. Prominent American founding fathers were George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, Alexander Hamilton, Thomas Paine, William Williams and many others.
How can Pres. Obama say that America is not a Christian nation when the Bureau of Statistics in America says that 89% are Protestants, 65% are Catholics and 15% of various religions. The President is not probably reading U.S. Statistics and U.S. History. The Jewish people were scattered by God to different nations for 1,800 years according to Jewish historians talking over TBN network. On May 14, 1948, Israel became a nation and days after the Holy Land gained her independence, Arab countries invaded Israel and despite its limited ammunition and fire power, the Arab invaders were repulsed, possibly through the invisible hand of the Almighty. In the 1978 Arab invasion of Israel, where Syria, Iran, Iraq, South Arabia, Egypt and Jordan, the combined invincible forces of the Arab world were defeated, again through the unseen hand of God. Three Middle East wars Israel faced after she gained her independence and the chosen nation of God became triumphant.
U.S. born again and Pentecostal Christians throughout the world believe that Israel is God's Holy nation and the Jewish people are the chosen ones. Genesis 12:2-3, God said to Abraham, “I will make of thee a great nation, and I will bless thee and make thy name great and thou shall be a blessing. And I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curseth thee and in thee all families of the earth be blessed. Christians feel that since Abraham was the chosen man of God and father of all nations, he walked righteously and holy with God. Abraham secured his covenant promises through obedience with God. Abraham died at a ripe age of 175 years. Genesis 25:7, “And these are the days of Abraham's life which he lived, a hundred threescore and fifteen years.” The God of Jerusalem is alive. “There is none like the God of Jerusalem – He descends from the heavens in majestic splendor to help you,” Deutronomy 33:26 TLB. “How about the god of Palestine, is he alive?” Psalm 125:2, “as the mountains are round about Jerusalem, so the Lord is round about his people from henceforth even forever.” No doubt, Israel will survive the pressure of the Arab world including U.S. President Obama as God is with the holy nation Israel and the chosen people Israelites.
