Raisa's Filipino Cooking Showcase
Raisa (pronounced Ra-i-sa) Ma. Lourdes Sarabia Treñas, the eldest daughter of Mayor Jerry Treñas and Rosalie Treñas, was the guest chef during SM City Iloilo's Filipino Cooking Demo last June 24, 2009. She is the Vice President for Operations of Carlo's, a family business since the 1980's.
Raisa is a graduate of International Business and Economics at the Ateneo de Manila University. She enrolled in the International School of Culinary Arts and Hotel Management under the tutelage of pastry chef Ernie Babaran. Then comes her on-the-job training at Le Souffle under Jessie Sincioco.
