2 CEH nurses suspended for boxing inside hospital
ROXAS CITY – The administrator of Capiz Emmanuel Hospital (CEH) suspended the two male staff nurses who engaged in a boxing fight inside the hospital.
Hospital Administrator Jessie Contreras told The News Today (TNT) that he suspended Rowie Cortesta and Noel Christopher Gerona for three days without salaries as a disciplinary action.
Contreras said the two nurses were settled and warned that they will be dismissed from the hospital should they resort again to such act inside the premises of the hospital while on duty.
Last Sunday, the two nurses engaged in a fist fight after having a certain disagreement.
Reportedly, Contesta provoked Gerona prompting the former to attack the latter.
Contreras said that the two staff nurses, who forgave each other, pledged that they will never commit the same offense again.
