The formative years of a child is at one to six years old, thus it is important to impart what the child needs to learn at this period of time. Day care centers offer the child their first education outside of the home, so it is crucial to have a center that is fully equipped. Some day care centers in the city need ample support in order to achieve its purpose.
The Iloilo Integrated Lions Club adopted one of the day care centers here, the Paraiso Day Care Center located in Barangay Cubay, Jaro, Iloilo City. This is one of the club's activities based on their thrust of providing service to the community. They donated chairs, blackboards, tables and some equipment for use by the pupils.
Iloilo Integrated Lions Club is now headed by Marcos C. Villalon.
