Templo sang yawa
Just last week rumors spread like wildfire that the “Templo sang yawa” (Devil's temple) was already bought from the bank by no less than the wife of the occupant's nemesis. The “Templo sang yawa” was foreclosed by the bank years back but its scheming occupant clings to it like a leech. But this time the temple's occupant apparently lost the battle. Soon he will be forcefully moved out of the temple like a king stripped of his crown and robe.
Iloilo City's 2nd flyover
Construction of the second flyover in the city – located at the junction of Jalandoni and Gen. Luna streets – will already start next month. The project will be undertaken by a French construction firm. Once completed, the flyover is seen to address the common problem of traffic congestion in the area especially during peak hours. The city's Traffic Management and Engineering Unit is currently preparing a traffic rerouting plan which will be implemented when the construction starts. We just hope that the second flyover will not be like the Infante flyover, undertaken by London-based firm Mabey & Johnson, which was tainted with anomalies.
'Be honest'
Pavia Mayor Cadio Gorriceta's “Be honest” campaign has unfortunately boomeranged on him. It appears that the mayor has so many skeletons in his closet which are now slowly being unearthed and hurled against him. Maybe it's time for Mayor Cadio to tear down those annoying “Be honest” billboards flooding his town because he has no credibility leading such campaign.
CML still hanging

It was only last Saturday that the Pharmaceutical and Healthcare Association of the Philippines (PHAP) submitted the 21 medicines included in the Maximum Retail Price (MRP) list of the Department of Health. However, the proposal is still up for the approval of Pres. GMA.
