22 IRC inmates begin stint at ‘Bilibid’
The Iloilo Rehabilitation Center (IRC) bid 22 of its longtime inmates a permanent farewell following the transfer to maximum security detention in Mandaluyong and Muntinlupa cities.
With 16 provincial guards as escorts led by IRC warden lawyer Soteo Gardose, the latest IRC “shipment” included one woman drug convict.
Facing life imprisonment at the Correctional Institution for Women at Mandaluyong City is Deding Aming convicted for violation of Republic Act 9165 otherwise known as the Dangerous Drugs Act.
All off to Muntinlupa meantime were four Ilonggo convicted rapists identified as Marvin Genteroles who faces reclusion perpetua for rape with homicide conviction and Emmanuel Andrade with ten to 14 years imprisonment. In similar league were Herlem Flores convicted of three counts of rape and sentenced with 6 to 8 years for each count and Noli Causing for two counts of rape conviction with 4 to 8 year sentence for each count.
Drug convicts off to Muntinlupa were Bonifacio Nuñez and Ganner Hassan both facing life imprisonment.
Murder convicts on the other hand included Rodolfo Paleta who was also convicted of Parricide and sentenced with 10 to 14 years of imprisonment for each conviction and Joseph Reyes.
Likewise transferred were homicide convicts Rolen Declaro, Monico Gallentes, Samuel Misamim, Venancio Denlos and Henry Bagaforo. Jessun Arucan on the other hand was also shipped following to serve his 2 to 8 year sentence as accomplice to homicide.
The rest of the transferees were Nilo Biboso for sexual assault, Sherwin Inocencio for unjust vexation, Rodrigo Ceñeza for illegal possession of firearms, Jessie Sebado for violation of parole and Cerlito Azucena for acts of lasciviousness.
Frustrated homicide convicts were Jonil Domile and Joven Bernal.
