Guv satisfied with NOPPO chief
BACOLOD CITY — After eight months as Negros Occidental PNP provincial director, Governor Isidro Zayco said he was 95% satisfied with the performance of Police Senior Superintendent Manuel Felix when it comes to the maintenance of peace and order in the province.
In fact, Felix steered the Negros Occidental Police Provincial Office to two straight first-place rankings in the quarterly performance evaluation rating of Police Regional Office (PRO)-6 besting nine other provincial and city police offices including the 6RMG in Western Visayas.
“Peace and order is the main concern of the province more than anything else and investors as well as businessmen will feel safe to invest in Negros Occidental for as long as they are secured by the PNP”, stressed Zayco during his speech.
He further said that the provincial government will support NOPPO in all of its undertakings since he believes in Felix’ leadership capabilities in transforming the Philippine National Police into respected and highly-motivated public servants.
“Col Felix works professionally and I never regretted in choosing him as our provincial director. His stint as chief of the PNP in Negros Occidental turned my admiration for the police into a more positive one”, added the highly-respected father of the province.
NOPPO is working doubly hard for peace and order in Negros Occidental in partnership with the various stakeholders of the PNP particularly the provincial government under the able leadership of Gov Zayco in relation to the “TEAM NEGROS” action plan of Felix.
