Felix issues final warning to erring cops
BACOLOD CITY -- Negros Occidental PNP provincial chief Police Senior Superintendent Manuel Felix didn’t hide his displeasure during the Monday morning flag raising ceremony which was also attended by around 80 erring personnel from the 31 city and municipal PNP stations and four PMGs at Camp Alfredo Montelibano in Bacolod City.
Earlier, two pre-AGI ORSITE teams led by Police Superintendents Flomar Natu-el and Armando Tubongbanua, deputy provincial director for administration and operation, respectively, of the Negros Occidental PNP, caught these policemen not complying with the provisions of Letter of Instructions (LOI) “Tamang Bihis”.
Felix personally checked on the erring cops particularly in the wearing of proper uniforms contained in LOI “Tamang Bihis” and directed them to take corrective actions or resign from their posts if they found it difficult to follow simple instructions from Higher Headquarters.
Likewise, Police Chief Inspector Jefferson Descallar of the Operations and PCR Branch conducted a surprise check on the said police personnel and required them to sing the Philippine National Police hymn which others failed to pass satisfactorily.
NOPPO spokesman Police Chief Inspector Rico Santotome Jr added that the Negros Occidental PNP is in the thick of preparations for the conduct of the Annual General Inspection-Operational Readiness Survey Inspection Test and Evaluation (AGI-ORSITE) by the Internal Affairs Service from the Police Regional Office 6 in Camp Delgado in Iloilo City and from Camp Crame in Manila this September.
