POLIBIZ
Dancing rhinoceros
Dancing King is a new appropriate title that could best describe TESDA Secretary General Augusto”Boboy” Syjuco, husband of incumbent congresswoman Judy Syjuco, 2nd District, Iloilo.
The recent expose of Sen. Miriam Defensor Santiago on Boboy, et. al. for using public fund for their infomercial in the guise of public service is an ultimate insult to the intelligence of the Filipino people.
Boboy failed to get the rationale of the expose. He pretended to be dumb and ignorant. He seems to appear a trying hard actor in the guise of a politician. Which is which Boboy? Are you an actor or a politician?
Adding insult to injury, he made a mockery by defending himself that he deserves to appear as a talent for having a God-given interesting face according to his magic mirror. Poor inanimate object, it became a mute witness to Boboy’s fantasy.
Will somebody please pass the Prozac!!! God @#&%^* it! I guess Boboy needs a little doze to knock him out of his senses. Pleassssssse…
But Boboy is unstoppable. He failed to get into the bottom of the issue. Why would he spend millions of people’s money for a few seconds of extravagance dancing with Sarah Geronimo? What really was his goal? Trick or treat?
Defending Sarah Geronimo for her commission as a talent is not the issue. This young talented lady deserves every single centavo she was paid for. She is an actress, remember?
The real issue is the motive of showing the infomercial just in time when the election fever is beginning to fill the air. Was it only a mere coincidence?
Boboy’s appearance in the infomercial is an advance political campaigning if I may say so. Of course, he will definitely deny this to high heavens. After all, he is also noted for being a Denial King in addition to his endless titles, your Tito Boboy, Amigo Personal, blah, blah, blah…
Incidentally, a big number of poor people in the province of Iloilo, particularly in the 2nd district are starving to death. Yet, here is your Tito Boboy likened to a rhinoceros due to his insensitivity has the gall to tell the public he did the infomercial for the love of his countrymen? It’s baloney!
“Ang puti, puti na ng buhok niya, pasayaw-sayaw pa. Hindi ba nakakahiya yan?” (His hair is already gray, and he still can afford to dance awkwardly. Isn’t it a shame?), asked Sen. Miriam Santiago in her privilege speech recently delivered at the Senate.
Boboy was defensive, as if the infomercial vulgarity was just something petty for him. He would even hire an expert dance instructor, if only to perfect his appearance in the infomercial to please the viewers.
Oh yeah, to please the viewers? Give me a break!
The truth is the infomercial turned out to be a monstrous reality; that smile behind his face is nothing but a facade.
Unknown to Pres. Gloria Macapagal Arroyo, she was again taken in for a ride by the Great Illusionist. Oops, this is another title yet I conceive for His Highness, who else but Tito Boboy.
God what have we done to deserve these people? Are we cursed?
Gone are the days when our illustrious leaders of the past have nothing in mind but for the greatness of his people and country. Some even littered their blood in the field for us. But they are all buried in oblivion. Nothing, nothing is left but just a memory we can no longer hold on.
Today, all we can see and hear are endless scandals committed by the people whom we put in the pedestal of power.
Even our local leaders are doing the same thing in the guise of authoring the recent Cheaper Medicines Act. Their insatiable appetite for greed is endless.
Oh, merciful god of gods, may a stroke of lightning invoke upon them; the sooner, the better.
Small wonder even our employees in various agencies of the government have joined the fray, from supervisory level down to rank and file.
See what have you done Tito Boboy, et al? They made you a model. You become an inspiration to their thievery! Shame on you!
