JCI Ilang-Ilang reaps more awards this year
The JCI Ilang-Ilang during the 29th Visayas Area Conference in Cebu-a.The Junior Chamber International Philippines Iloilo “Ilang-Ilang” has been a multi-awarded chapter since its rebirth in 2001. The 2009 term is no different as the chapter once again reaped awards at the 29th Visayas Area Conference in Cebu. Led by 2009 Chapter President, JCI Mem. Katherine “Kay” Vinco, the ladies of JCI Iloilo “Ilang-Ilang” conquered Cebu with a bang.
The club’s major awards were Re-Engineering Ilang-Ilang: Most Outstanding Local Organization; Best Business Development Program: 2nd Sari-Sari Store Owners Convention: Never the Least.
The merit awards were: Mission Impossible: Most Outstanding Local Organization President, JCI Mem. Katherine “Kay” Vinco; Best JCI Week Celebration: Women Empowerment; Best Community Development Program: Big things come from small things… Share your blessings!; Best Fund Raising Program: Jump Ball: Iloilo Business League Meets Tinseltown’s Hottest Stars; Best Youth Activities Program: Bantay Bata English Literacy Program; and Best Public Health Program: Cross Over to Manhood: Tuli (Summer Operation Tuli Series).
The club was also awarded Top 10 in the JCIPEA Awards.
