VII. Death of Mo. Rosario
Mother Rosario died peacefully on June 14, 1957, at the age of 73, after receiving the Holy viaticum and anointing while being surrounded by her sisters. She served the Congregation for 32 years. The funeral was attended by both ecclesiastical and civil dignitaries and the many poor people whom she loved and for whom she dedicated her life. Her remains were first buried in Molo Cemetery and later on were transferred to the Mother House of the Congregation in Molo.
VIII. Fame of Sanctity
In life Mo. Rosario was known and loved by the people around her, especially the poor. Both the Sisters as well as the ordinary peoples invoke her intercession for some divine favors. Many claim of having received what they have asked for. In the mother house, chapel has been built where her remains are deposited for the laity to have an easy access to pray before her tomb. Furthermore, the Congregation of the Sisters founded by her also spread her fame of sanctity among the peoples they serve be in schools, in parishes, in retreat houses as well as in mission.
