Healthy lifestyle by the Antique Medical Society
MOA signing with DILG Antique.The Antique Medical Society in partnership with Gaisano Grand Mall of Antique conducted a Lecture Series on Healthy Lifestyle last September 19, 2009 at the Gaisano Grand Mall’s activity center.
The activity was participated by LGU of San Jose de Buenavista, Barangay Nutrition Scholars, Barangay Health workers, and mall goers. This aims to promote healthy lifestyle to the Antiquenos.
The lecture focused on nutrition for children, lifestyle issues for children, adolescent health and development, obesity/diabetes, smoking/anesthesia and cancer detection.
MOA signing with LGU of San Jose de buenavista and AMS.According to Dr. Liza Huelar-Galilea, AMS president, “this activity is one way of providing more information to Antiquenos to be aware of several health issues.” She added that AMS is committed to support and be involved with the LGU of San Jose de Buenavista and the Provincial Government of Antique in implementing health programs. AMS signed a memorandum of agreement as partners with the LGU of San Jose de Buenavista represented by Hon. Rony L. Molina and the Department of Interior and Local Government represented by Provincial Director Rosario Maza.
