Teacher’s board exam to push through Oct. 4
The Licensure Examination for Teachers (LET) will push through on Sunday, October 4, 2009.
This was confirmed by Professional Regulations Commission (PRC) 6 Director Lily Ann Baldago with the Philippine Information Agency 6.
The LET was canceled on Sunday, September 27 due to heavy flooding in some areas of the country brought by typhoon “Ondoy”.
Baldago said her office is currently undertaking a massive information dissemination with the help of the media to inform examinees in the region of the new schedule of the examination.
Baldago advised examinees to be at their assigned examination room at 6:30 in the morning or earlier. Likewise, proctors and other examination personnel were advised to report to their respective assignments before 6:00 a.m.
On the other hand, examinees who were assigned at the Iloilo National High School were advised to visit the PRC – Iloilo Office beginning tomorrow, Thursday, October 1 for minor changes in their room assignment.
Examinees who could not take the examination on October 4 may be allowed to sit the same exam in April 2010 without paying the examination fee, provided they will have to fill-out a new application form and submit it together with the notice of room assignment in the September 2009 examination.
For further queries, examinees may visit the PRC-Iloilo office located at the 2nd Floor N.B. Bldg., Lopez Jaena St., Iloilo City or call telephone numbers 329-2730 or 329-3705 during office hours. Text messages sent to 09178407409 shall be replied to also during office hours. (PIA)
