Castro cites projects poured in Sapian
SAPIAN, Capiz – Second District Cong. Fredenil H. Castro considered as his priceless gifts to Mayor Arturo “Turic” Orosco, Sr. and wife Dr. Vangie Oñas Orosco, who celebrated their 39th wedding anniversary, and former Mayor Remedios “Nanay Meding” Oñas, who celebrated her 84th birthday, are the many projects poured in their town.
This was said by Castro last Sunday at the Hermana Hall beside the residence of Orosco couple and Nanay Meding.
Castro, who is finishing his last term, said that he is still the same “Oto” as he is fondly called by family, friends and constituents and he has never changed his character.
Castro said he promised some nine projects to Sapian but he gave 14 as he loved the Sapiananons.
Castro identified his projects as concreting of roads in Brgy Maninang, construction of Sisi and Talaba bridges, rehabilitation of slaughterhouse, Senior Citizen building, the upcoming fish port project, and many others.
During the double occasion, hundreds of members of the Blue Boys organization, Yellow Bells, Golden Ladies took their oath before the mayor, wife and Vice Mayor Ralph Odrunia.
Present during the occasion were: Mrs. Jane Castro, Former Department of Agriculture (DA) Usec. Jocelyn “Jocjoc” Bolante, Former City Councilor Mark Ortiz, Former Governor Jose “Ting” Borda, Pres. Roxas Mayor Rosauro Buenafe, Jamindan Mayor Ethel Jinon, barangay officials and many others.
