BCPO turn over relief goods to ABS-CBN ‘Sagip Kapamilya’
BACOLOD CITY — Police Senior Superintendent Celestino Guara Jr., Bacolod City Police (BCPO) officer-in-charge officially turn over 20 sacks of used clothing to “Sagip Kapamilya” of ABS-CBN Broadcasting Network in this city recently as an assistance for the victims of the recent typhoons that hit the country.
Said items were donated by uniformed, non-uniformed and civilian employees assigned at BCPO; pupils, parents and teachers of Banago Elementary School 1 in Barangay Banago; residents of Grandville 2 Subdivision in Barangay Mansilingan and concerned individuals in this city who brought their used clothing directly to the Police Community Relations Branch of BCPO.
Guara said “that we should help our countrymen who suffered greatly during the devastation brought by the typhoons and this is our own special way of showing that we also care.”
The relief goods will be shipped to Metro Manila through Negros Navigation according to Caryll Diamante of Sagip Kapamilya. (PO1 Jared Esquilla)
