Sapian SK Fed prexy dies in road mishap
ROXAS CITY – Sapian Sangguniang Kabataan (SK) Federation President and concurrent ex-officio member of Sangguniang Bayan (SB) of the said town died on the spot after the motorcycle he was riding bumped into a school fence in Mambusao last Wednesday afternoon.
The victim was identified as Paul Azi Olete Perono, 22, an SK Chairman of Barangay Bilao, Sapian, Capiz. He suffered head injury and was rushed to the Mambusao District Hospital but declared dead on arrival by attending physician.
SPO1 Catalino Orlen of Sapian PNP Station said that the incident took place at around 5 p.m. on November 11 in Sitio Minoro, Brgy. Bula, Sapian, Capiz.
The victim, according to the police, was on his way home when he evaded the wet portion of the highway, however, the victim lost control of his motorcycle causing it swerve then bump the concrete school fence.
