Search for 2010 Outstanding Students awards is on
BACOLOD CITY — The Search for 2010 The Outstanding Students (THOS) Awards is on.
The THOS Awards, widely considered as the most prestigious recognition for the best and brightest students in the Province of Negros Occidental and Bacolod City, is now on its 40th year.
Organized by the Junior Chamber International (JCI) Philippines-Bacolod or “Bacolod Jaycees’, the THOS Project aims to commend outstanding students who strive for excellence in all their undertakings, in the hope that this may inspire other students to strive to achieve for excellence.
Awardees of this search will be selected on the basis of academic excellence, leadership potential, dedication, hard work, integrity and social responsibility. THOS is the flagship project of JCI-Bacolod.
This is a province-wide search whose participants will be chosen from the High School and College categories from all public and private schools in Bacolod City and the Province of Negros Occidental.
