The Iloilo Emerald Lions Club poses as Santa
The Iloilo Emerald Lions Club officers and members with Vice Mayor Dionzon Jagunap, Candy Hechanova, Mae Panes, Arlette Humpay, Joy Canon, Alvin Tan, Dary Humpay, Louis Ng, brgy captain Leopoldo Juele and Allen Espano.The officers and members of the Iloilo Emerald Lions Club forego its usual Christmas party with a gift giving activity last Sunday. The chosen recipients are the Sitio Panusuan and Sitio 30 both of Brgy Nabitasan in Leganes, Iloilo. There were 200 gift packs of rice, sardines and noodles which were distributed among the residents of the mentioned Sitios. The gleaming happy faces of the baranggay folks receiving the gift packs was more than enough reason for the club members to feel the true spirit of Christmas.
The club officers and members were warmly welcomed by the Leganes vice mayor Dionzon Jagunap, councilor and lion member Allen Espano, brgy captain Leopoldo Juele, brgy kgwds Joseph Espinosa and Gary Masalihit and Rosini Cain.
True to its mission to serve the local communities and meet humanitarian needs, The Iloilo Emerald Lions Club will continue to grow its members to get more hands in helping people. Thus, the community where it serves can expect more projects to better the lives of the indigents.
