No segregation
Engr. Raul Gallo of the Department of Public Services (DPS) was heard saying that they will temporarily suspend the implementation of the “no segregation no collection” policy on garbage during the upcoming Dinagyang Festival. Why? Is the “no segregation no collection” policy still in effect? Daw wala na man?
Only 16 tribes
There will only be 16 tribes that will compete in the Dinagyang Festival highlight this coming January 24. The Dinagyang organizers assure that although the participating tribes reduced in number (compared to previous years’ which reached up to 23 or 24 tribes) they will be showing world-class performances which will really amaze the spectators including foreign tourists. We just hope that with 16 tribes competing the Dinagyang tribes competition will end by noontime and will not extend to around 2 or 3 p.m. In other words the competition should start on time (around 8:30 a.m.), otherwise hapon man gihapon matapos ang kompetisyon maski diutay lang ang mga nagapasakup nga tribu.
Radyo Budyong’s revival
Watch out for the return of dyBQ Radyo Budyong of the Intercontinental Broadcasting Corporation in the coming weeks. Bull’s Eye received information that dyBQ technicians and personnel led by Madame Cora Paniergo are in the thick of preparations for the revival of the radio station which has been off the air for quite some time.
JunCaps on the go
Former radio broadcaster Jun Capulot, known for his fiery commentaries, is making waves in the surveys here in Iloilo City. So far, he has always been included in the top 15 in different surveys. May nagahambal gani nga daw baskug pa si JunCaps kay Bombo Rodel (Fullon) Agado. What d’you think Tsip Ely?
