New Year fireworks in Bago City
A shot of the fireworks up the sky.IT WAS a very happy moment for several thousands of Negrenses as everyone drove to see the musical symphony of fireworks orchestrated for the people to witness. An initiative of Honorary Consul of the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg to the Philippines Atty. Raymond Stoffel who is a resident of Bago City, the Lights of Bago 2010 indeed was something worth watching.
After that night, many who did not come to watch were wowed by the reactions of their friends and families who watched the spectacle of pyrotechnics that night. Bago City Mayor Ramon Torres was happy to know that more than 50,000 thousand people inside and outside of the venue were watching the skies of his city awaiting the amazing treat of fireworks.
With a raffle as part of the event, a children’s playground will be donated to the children of Bago City by the people of Luxembourg, the raffle donors, the City of Bago and the International Friendship Club of Negros Island.
