Dinagyang Kapamilya Dance Showdown heats up Festival Fever
X-crew.THE Dinagyang Kapamilya Dance Showdown was formally launched last Jan. 4, 2010 at SM City Iloilo Event Center.
The event is in line with the celebration of the 2010 Dinagyang Festival and also a venue to search for Ilonggo dance talents.
The launching was followed by the first elimination round on the same day that heated up the first half of the competition. The second elimination round was last January 13.The Grand Finals is set on January 22, 2 PM at the Event Center.
Every competing group received a 2,500 pesos gift certificate from TM Spa Europa Skinea. The contest was electronically judged with the aid of AMA Computer College.
3-60 Degrees.The Dinagyang Kapamilya Dance Showdown is brought to us by ABS-CBN and the Office of Councilor Lex Tupas and SM City Iloilo. It’s also sponsored by Smart Philippines, Pepsi Cola, San Miguel Corporation, AMA Computer College and TM Spa Europa Skinea.
Meanwhile, the Tourism Information Desk will also be set up on January 11-24 at the Lower Ground Floor Foodcourt Hallway for inquiries on Dinagyang and other tourism related activities. This project is in partnership with the Department of Tourism VI, Iloilo City Tourism and Development Office, the Association of Iloilo Travel and Tour Operators (AITTO), and Iloilo Hotels, Resorts and Restaurants Association (IRRHA).
The Food Festival will be a sure extravaganza on January 22-24 as SM Foodcourt tenants will bring out the best of their respective menus. Mix that with the latest tunes played by local and manila bands on these two-day foodfest. And what a way to celebrate with all that fireworks in the sky as the annual Luces in the Sky will once again light up the sky while you enjoy good food with family and friends on January 22 and 23, 2010.
