The Iloilo Boulevard is a natural resources endowed to Ilonggos and should be protected.
Yesterday, the city government along with different sectors launched the Operation Bantay Suba with a walk for cause starting from Carpenter’s Bridge all the way to the Iloilo Boulevard up to Gaisano City area then to Promenade passing through Drilon Bridge to Muelle Loney until the Iloilo Freedom Grandstand, where a program was held.
The city government is now planning to put up comfort rooms and public address system for the use of those religiously doing their physical fitness. One of the concerns raised of those who frequents the Iloilo Boulevard is the lack of comfort room, said Treñas.
The need for a comfort room is one of the concerns raised particularly by women. And to stimulate more of those groups holding free aerobics exercises, the city will install public address system for them to use.
