Let God’s blessings overflow in 2010
Blessings of God maybe in the form of good health, abundance of food, sufficient money supply, peace in home/neighbor, steady job, protection from danger, healing of the sick, long life and clean honest living. Get the favor of God for He is righteous and holy and He expects His followers to walk in His footsteps. For if we are in the Lord’s side, we will never go astray, but if we do, the Lord is there to lead us back to the path of righteousness. The Lord said in Psalm 23:56, “Thou prepared a table before me in the presence of my enemies, thou anoint my head with oil, my cup runneth over. Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life, and I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever.”
A believer commented, “Why do wicked people are rich while the righteous ones are poor and hungry?” For instance he inquired further, “politicians are super rich and they accumulate money by the millions through dishonest means and God does not punish them.” God is a just God and loves His children even the corrupt and dishonest ones. But in the day of judgment, the dishonest politicians and the corrupt ones will have to account for their misdeeds while living here on earth. “But what shall it profit a man if he gains the wealth of the nation and loses his own soul?”
Many dishonest politicians and government officials are happy when they steal the money of the government but they are not aware of the retribution of God Almighty. Life here on earth is temporary and the elite people of God will live in God’s kingdom where mansions are reserved for His chosen ones. Should we then choose ill-gotten wealth, the lake of fire is but a stone’s throw away. Should we walk in the path of God, then we inherit eternal life as we are with the Lord forevermore.
GMA and her cabinet officials may live in abundance while here on earth. The righteous poor may suffer untold misery and hardship while here on earth, but who knows overflowing blessings await them up yonder. Let’s therefore live life according to God’s purpose and His children could not contain the blessings that may come to him while awaiting for the coming of Jesus Christ which will happen soon. If we obey God, blessings will overflow this year 2010. Choose God rather than Satan who is the prince of miseries and destructions to God’s children. Resist Satan by calling God in prayer and rebuking Satan in the name of Jesus Christ who already defeated him several years ago. When one is a sinner, he can ask God to forgive his sins, be born again, accept Jesus Christ as Lord and Saviour, and stop committing sins. No doubt, overflow of blessings will follow.
