Lex and Candice wed
Mr. Lex and Dr. Candice Tupas.December 27, 2009 will always be remembered by Iloilo Councilor Lex Tupas and Dr. Candice Alumisin Tupas because this is the day when their union was blessed by God through the Sacrament of Matrimony at the Santuario de San Antonio at Forbes Park, Makati City.
The already radiant Dr. Cands, as the bride is fondly called, was the picture of serenity and contentment as she walked down the aisle donning the creation of Monique Lhuillier.
The mass was officiated by Most Rev. Angel Lagdameo, along with five other co-celebrants.
Around 300 witnessed this romantic event in the couple’s life, led by parents Gov. Niel Sr and Myrna Tupas and Homer and Carina Alumisin who were a picture of happiness, knowing that their children have chosen the person who’s best for each other.
According to Lex, he and Candice were introduced by the former’s cousin, a resident doctor in one hospital. “We visited her house and we were supposed to stay for just 15 minutes. But the visit lasted for two hours and the rest is history,” said Lex.
Lex and Candice are both doctors. He, a doctor of management and she, a doctor of medicine. “She’s sweet, intelligent, compassionate, pretty, religious, conservative, pure and supportive of my endeavors,” he added.
After the wedding, of course, came the reception that was a really fun event for everybody.
