Images opens with style
The ribbon cutting ceremony. Tito Nobeza, Mayor Matt Palabrica, Gigy Sy, Caloy Garcia and Dr. Vic Pido.THE art exhibit of 38 Ilonggo artists from the Photographic Society of Iloilo and the Alumni Artist Guild of WVCST at the Amigo Plaza Mall Event Center dubbed as Images Thru Lenses and Brushes, opened with elegance. The opening night was attended by the artists themselves, members of the media and close friends. The event was graced by Vice Mayor Jed Patrick Mabilog and Bingawan Mayor Matt Palabrica. The guests were entertained by the magnificent, stylized and theatrical dance performances of the artists of Iloilo Prima Galaw.
During the event, fifteen lucky guests got an opportunity to have free sketchings from artists Tito Nobleza, Art Geroche, Leo Dumagat, Edgar Gonzales and Bal Cerbo. The soothing music emanated from the violin of Lauro Pineda enveloped the venue while the artists were sketching.
It was indeed a night of glamorous art where paintings, photographs and music blended. Images is presented by Amigo Plaza Mall and organized by TMX. The exhibit lasted until January 22.
