21 BCPO personnel finish masters degree
BACOLOD CITY — Twenty One personnel of Bacolod City Police Office (BCPO) were given certificates of recognition for graduating in their Master in Public Management (MPM) course major in National Security and Law Enforcement at the University of St. La Salle – Bacolod in simple rites held during the traditional Monday flag raising ceremony at the BCPO main office grounds in this city.
Out of the twenty one BCPO personnel who graduated in their MPM course through Project COPS “Career Opportunities in Police Service” a special program funded by the Eduardo Cojaungco Foundation nine are Police Commissioned Officers (PCOs) and twelve are Police Non-Commissioned Officers (PNCOs).
The Master in Public Management (MPM) program, with specialization in National Security and Law Enforcement, is a specially designed comprehensive program that integrates concepts of public administration and governance with fundamental concepts and issues on National Security and Law Enforcement.
“Your perseverance to finish the course is a manifestation of a true professional police officer” says Police Superintendent Pedrito Escarilla, Deputy City Director for Administration who personally gave the certificates.
The twenty one BCPO personnel that graduated in their MPM course were: Police Chief Inspectors Ehdel Pereira; Luisito Acebuche and Placido Gentoleo; Police Senior Inspectors Leilanie Garcia; Ulysses Ortiz; Levy Pangue and Ramon Villanueva; Police Inspectors Jeffrey Attunaga and Renato Ofamen; Senior Police Officer 1 Edgar Allan De Guzman; Police Officers 3 Annabelee Abalayan; Romulo Tolentino; Lovella Cordova; Richard Delasa; Yasmin Mana-ay and Rodney Ruiz; Police Officers 2 Robert Dumate; Jared Esquilla; Sheryl Mendoza; Raul Miranda Jr. and Mark Anthony Pabon.
