IDFI’s Thanksgiving Dinner
City Tourism Office and some guests.The Iloilo Dinagyang Festival 2010 was quite a success, thanks to the partnership of the Iloilo Dinagyang Foundation, Inc., the city government, other government and non-government organizations as well as the private sector. It is but fitting for the IDFI to host a thanksgiving dinner a few weeks after the festival. It was held at the Lee Chuan Park (the area at the back of the Freedom Grandstand). A wide array of buffet dishes were enjoyed by the guests as they listened to the music of the Totong Villaruz Band. After dinner, Mayor Jerry Trenas, Lee Chuan and Ricardo Andrada awarded certificates to the sponsors and working committee. A raffle was held wherein a big number of the guests received prizes like over toasters, blenders, rice cookers, electric fans and more.
The evening was capped by a toast by Ben Jimena, tourism officer of Iloilo City, and dancing!
